Hello, I'm Rachel! I am a student of grief, slowness and mystery. I make things, facilitate spaces, and create opportunities for tending to relationships with the Earth, change, and the wild language of the body.
My art practice is devoted to honoring discarded materials and presenting them in contexts that welcome wonder, play, and curiosity about sacredness, magic, and what it means to be human in this particular time. In my work as a death doula / end of life guide, I offer guidance for navigating grief and facing loss, and I provide resources and support for negotiating both the practical and spiritual aspects of the dying process.
I write about these and other themes in my monthly(ish) newsletter, Earthling News. You can get in touch with me at rachelzbecker@gmail.com.
