Earth Day Art Show!

The Earth Day Art Show was a group exhibition in April 2017 at the Art Lab in Fort Collins, Colorado that I organized and curated. The intention was to explore the meaning of “being human on Earth” and create opportunities for community engagement and contemplation of our relationships to nature, ourselves, and each other.

The show presented the diverse works of over 20 artists, ranging from sculptures made from repurposed trash, to collages made of plant material, to digital animations. There were also various activities held in the space, including daily meditation sessions, a permaculture talk & composting workshop, and an open-mic night. It was enlivening to see the range of perspectives offered by those that participated, and to engage with challenging topics in a pro-active way. Thank you to everyone that made this show possible!
